Dayton, Minnesota

Dayton is a city in Hennepin and Wright counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 4,671 at the 2010 census. Dayton is mainly in Hennepin County, but a part of the city extends into Wright County as well. It is the northernmost city in Hennepin County. The city of Dayton, platted in 1855, is named for city founder, Lyman Dayton (1810–1865).

Ramsey (Metro Transit station)

Ramsey is commuter rail station along the Northstar Line in Ramsey, Minnesota, approximately 35 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. It is the first infill station on the route, fitting between stations in Elk River and Anoka. Those stations opened when Northstar began service on November 16, 2009, while Ramsey opened almost exactly three years later on November 14, 2012.

Betty Adkins Bridge

Betty Adkins Bridge is a pair of concrete girder bridges spanning the Mississippi River between Otsego, Minnesota and Elk River, Minnesota. The northbound bridge was built in 2001, replacing a plate girder bridge that was originally built in 1967 as a two-lane bridge for Minnesota State Highway 101 when the highway was rerouted around Elk River. The southbound bridge was built in 1993 when Highway 101 was expanded to four lanes. The bridge is named for Betty Adkins, a DFL state senator from St.
