Sheridan County, Montana

Sheridan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,384. Its county seat is Plentywood. Sheridan County was established in 1913 when the Montana Legislature split Dawson and Valley Counties. It was named after American Civil War General Philip Sheridan. It is south from the Canadian border of Saskatchewan.

KATQ (AM)

KATQ (1070 AM), "Radio International" is a radio station licensed to serve Plentywood, Montana. The station is owned by Radio International KATQ Broadcast Association. It airs a Country music format. The station was put on the air as a 5000 watt AM daytimer in the mid-1970s with the call letters of KATQ selected to honor the Plentywood Wildcats, mascot of the local high school.
