KFXL-TV is the Fox affiliate for Lincoln, Nebraska, broadcasting on digital channel 51. It is owned by the Omaha World-Herald and operated by Pappas Telecasting Companies under a local marketing agreement. This makes KFXL a sister station to KHGI-TV, the ABC affiliate for the western portion of the Lincoln/Hastings/Kearney market. It is operated out of KHGI's studio in Axtell.

Maxwell Arboretum

The Earl G. Maxwell Arboretum is a 5-acre arboretum and botanical garden located on the East Campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. The arboretum began more than 50 years ago when Earl G. Maxwell began to plant trees on the campus. It was subsequently dedicated as the second site of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. Mature oaks include specimens of black, bur, English, pin, sawtooth, shingle, shumard, and swamp white varieties.
