East Rochester, New Hampshire

East Rochester is a district of the city of Rochester, New Hampshire, located on the banks of the Salmon Falls River, which separates Maine from New Hampshire. Home to approximately 5,000 residents, it is located 3 miles east of Rochester proper, and is one of two villages (the other being Gonic) within city limits. The area was a farming community which developed into a small textile and shoe manufacturing mill town during the Industrial Revolution.

Spaulding High School is a public co-educational high school in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. It is part of the city of Rochester School Department and is located at 130 Wakefield Street. Spaulding High School was built in 1939, and the addition of the Richard W. Creteau Center was completed in 1990. Along with the addition in 1990, the original building was extensively renovated.
