Sea Girt is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 1,828, reflecting a decline of 320 (-14.9%) from the 2,148 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 49 (+2.3%) from the 2,099 counted in the 1990 Census. Sea Girt was formed as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 29, 1917, from portions of Wall Township, based on the results of a referendum held on May 1, 1917.

The Glimmer Glass Bridge is a bridge located in Manasquan, New Jersey. It carries traffic from Brielle Road over the Glimmer Glass, a navigable tidal inlet of the Manasquan River, from Brielle to Manasquan. It is owned by County of Monmouth. The Glimmer Glass Bridge was built in 1898. It is a cable lift bascule bridge, using a rolling counterweight design. The bridge was modernized in 1957. However, the integrity of the original design has been maintained and it operates in the original manner.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 5,897, reflecting a decline of 413 (-6.5%) from the 6,310 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 941 (+17.5%) from the 5,369 counted in the 1990 Census. The borough's name is of Lenape origin, "Man-A-Squaw-Han", meaning "stream of the island of squaws".
