Mount Ephraim, New Jersey

Mount Ephraim is a borough in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,676, reflecting an increase of 181 (+4.0%) from the 4,495 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 22 (-0.5%) from the 4,517 counted in the 1990 Census. Mount Ephraim was incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 23, 1926, from portions of the now-defunct Centre Township.

Harwan Theatre

The Harwan Theatre was a movie theatre in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey. Originally known as the Mount Ephraim Theatre, it was built in 1929 at the corner of the Black Horse Pike and Kings Highway, and first opened its doors on Thanksgiving Day in 1930. The original owners, Elias and Eva Harwan, named it the Mount Ephraim Theatre; it was renamed the Harwan Theatre when it was sold in 1968. It was originally a vaudeville theatre, with a stage, a single screen and 600 seats.

The Mount Ephraim Public Schools are a community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from Mount Ephraim, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2007-08 school year, the district's two schools had an enrollment of 447 students and 25.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 17.6.

Union Township, Camden County, New Jersey

Union Township is a now dissolved township which existed from 1831 to 1868 and was located in present day Camden County, New Jersey. Union Township was formed by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on November 15, 1831, while the area was still part of Gloucester County, taking territory from Gloucester Township and incorporating all of Gloucestertown Township.
