Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden is a particular church or diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church, located in New Jersey, United States, and presides over Roman Catholic parishes and schools in the six southern New Jersey counties of Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem. Pope Pius XI established the Diocese of Camden on December 9, 1937, by breaking it off from the Diocese of Trenton. Today, the Diocese of Camden presides over 70 parishes.

Camden is a city in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It is the county seat, located across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. As of the 2010 United States Census the city had a total population of 77,344, representing a decline of 2,560 (3.2%) from the 79,904 residents enumerated during the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 7,588 (8.7%) from the 87,492 counted in the 1990 Census.

Creative and Performing Arts High School

Creative Arts High School is a public high school that first opened in 1999 in Camden, New Jersey, and started with a freshman class of under 50 students, operating as part of the Camden City Public Schools. It is one of three magnet schools in Camden, along with Brimm Medical Arts High School and Met East High School. As of the 2010-11 school year, the school had an enrollment of 149 students and 26.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 5.73:1.
