Troy is a city in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 25,058 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Miami County as well as the largest city in the county and is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Troy was one of the cities impacted by severe flooding in the Great Dayton Flood of 1913.

Hobart Welded Steel House Company was a company that manufactured 22 pre-fabricated steel houses in Troy, Ohio from 1932 to 1941. The company and all 22 houses were located in Troy, Ohio. This article is about the firm and also provides a List of Hobart Welded Steel House Company houses. Sixteen of the houses built by the company, in addition to three garages and a shed, were listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1989.

Hobart Arena

The Hobart Arena is a 3,782-seat multi-purpose arena in Troy, Ohio. It officially opened with 10 sold out performances of Holiday on Ice in September 1950. The Hobart Arena was the first Ohio venue for Elvis Presley on November 24, 1956. The 1950s also saw performances by Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Nat King Cole, Tex Ritter, Sonja Henie, Victor Borge, Liberace, Guy Lombardo, and Patti Page.

WYDA "K-LOVE" is an FM station operating at 96.9 MHz licensed to Troy, Ohio.
