St. George's School is a private, Episcopal, coeducational boarding school in Middletown, Rhode Island, USA, just east of the city of Newport. The school was founded in 1896 by the Rev. John Byron Diman, a member of a prominent Rhode Island family. It sits on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is known for having a beautiful campus. It is a member of the Independent School League and one of five schools collectively termed St. Grottlesex.

Newport County is one of five counties located in the state of Rhode Island. As of 2010, the population of Newport County was 82,888. It is also one of the seven regions of Rhode Island. Like all of the counties in Rhode Island, Newport County is a county that no longer has any governmental functions (other than as court administrative and sheriff corrections boundaries).

Newport Creamery

Newport Creamery is a chain of restaurants in Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The company is based in Middletown, Rhode Island. The restaurant was founded in 1940 when a local dairy owner named Samuel Rector founded a small restaurant in Middletown, Rhode Island. In the 1950s and 1960s, the restaurant was franchised and 33 restaurants were opened during the succeeding decades. Rector's family sold the restaurant in the late 90's.

Malbone Castle and Estate

Malbone, a Gothic-style castle and National Historic Place originally built in 1741 (although the current house dates largely from 1848). The estate is one of the oldest privately owned estates in Newport, Rhode Island. The estate once served as the country residence of Colonel Godfrey Malbone (1695–1768) of Virginia and Connecticut.
