The station was formerly KSQB (AM) and simulcast 107.9 KXQL at Flandreau, South Dakota as "Kool 107.9". Ownership of the station was transferred from Backyard Broadcasting to John E. Small's Cup O'Dirt, LLC, on 14 May 2010.

The Sioux Falls Arena is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The facility was built in 1961. It seats 6,113, for basketball games and 4,760, for indoor football and hockey. It is the home of the Sioux Falls Skyforce basketball team, the Sioux Falls Storm indoor football team and the Sioux Falls Stampede ice hockey team, as well as a variety of state high school championship events.

Sioux Falls Stadium

Sioux Falls Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It originally opened in 1941 and was renovated in 2000. It holds 4,500 people. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the unaffiliated Sioux Falls Canaries baseball team of the American Association. It was their home stadium when they won the American Association championship in 2008. Promoting the home team, the stadium is often affectionately proclaimed "The Birdcage".
