Union County, South Dakota

Union County is a county located in the U.S. state of South Dakota. It is part of the Sioux City, IA–NE–SD Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,399. Its county seat is Elk Point. Originally named Cole County, the named was changed to Union because of Civil War sentiment. Progressive Farmer rated Union County second in the 2006 "Best Place to Live" in the U.S. , because "its schools are good, its towns neat and its people friendly."

DakotaDome

DakotaDome is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium on North Dakota Street in Vermillion, South Dakota. Opened in 1979 for a cost of $8.2 million, it is home to the University of South Dakota Coyotes for numerous athletic events, including football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, men's and women's swimming and diving, and track. The DakotaDome hosts other events throughout the year, including the South Dakota high school football championships each November.

Westfield, Iowa

Westfield is a city in Plymouth County, Iowa, United States. The population was 132 at the 2010 census. It is the westernmost point in Iowa, this being due to a bend in the Big Sioux River. A sign on the highway says "In Iowa, West Is The Best". The nearby Broken Kettle wildlife refuge is one of the few places in Iowa where rattlesnakes are commonly found.
