WNAX is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format. It is licensed to Yankton, South Dakota. Due to the flat landscape of the Upper Great Plains with near-perfect ground conductivity and its location near the bottom end of the AM band, the station's 5,000-watt signal covers large portions of South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and North Dakota. Chan Gurney Municipal Airport

Chan Gurney Municipal Airport, also referred to as Chan Gurney Airport, is a public airport located three miles (5 km) north of the central business district (CBD) of Yankton, a city in Yankton County, South Dakota, USA. It is named for John Chandler "Chan" Gurney, a native of Yankton who was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War I and later became a U.S. Senator. The airport covers 458 acres and has two runways.
