Preston is a station on the METRORail Red Line in Houston, Texas. The station is located at Main Street and Preston Street in Downtown Houston. This is the 2nd station heading south along the rail line. This station is located in the Northern, Historic part of Downtown Houston.

UH–Downtown (METRORail station)

UH–Downtown is a station on the METRORail Red Line in Houston, Texas, and it is the northern terminus of the Red Line. The station is located on top of the Main Street viaduct at the campus of the University of Houston–Downtown (UHD). Upon arrival, incoming passengers deboard the train and the operator switches cabs for the return trip. (METRORail trains have one cab for each direction of travel. ) After about a seven minute layover the train departs for the Fannin South station.

Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston encompasses 8,880 square miles of ten counties in the southeastern area of Texas: Galveston; Harris; Austin; Brazoria; Fort Bend; Grimes; Montgomery; San Jacinto; Walker; and Waller. The chancery of the archdiocese is located in Downtown Houston. The archdiocese's original cathedral church is St. Mary Cathedral Basilica in Galveston with a co-cathedral, the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, located in Downtown Houston.

Christ Church Cathedral (Houston)

Christ Church Cathedral, Houston is the cathedral church for the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. The congregation was established in 1839, when Texas was still an independent republic. It is the oldest extant congregation in Houston and one of the oldest non-Roman Catholic churches in Texas. Many Episcopal churches in Houston and the surrounding area were founded as missions of Christ Church, such as Trinity Church, Houston, founded in 1893.

Alley Theatre

Not to be confused with the Alley Theatre (Strabane) in Northern Ireland. The Alley Theatre is a Tony Award-winning indoor theatre in Downtown Houston, Texas, and hosts two stages. The "Hubbard" is the main stage with seating for 824; the more intimate "Neuhaus" seats 310. Nine towers and open-air terraces give the Alley Theatre a castle-like quality. Inside, a staircase spirals from the entrance vestibule to the second-floor lobby.
