The State Fair of Virginia is a state fair held annually at the end of September at The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Virginia. Through 2008, the fair was held at the Richmond Raceway Complex, located in eastern Henrico County, just outside of the capital city of Richmond.

Intimidator 305

Intimidator 305 is a steel roller coaster built by Intamin at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, United States. Debuting as the park's fourteenth roller coaster, Intimidator 305 is located in the Congo section near Anaconda. Standing at 305 feet tall and reaching speeds of 90 miles per hour, it is the second Giga Coaster to be built in North America – the first was Millennium Force at Cedar Point. The $25 million investment was the largest of any ride in the park's history.

Volcano, The Blast Coaster

Volcano, The Blast Coaster, or simply known as "Volcano", is a launched inverted roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. Designed by both Paramount Parks and Werner Stengel and built by Intamin, Volcano was the world's first inverted roller coaster to feature an LIM (linear induction motor) and is the only one of its kind that completes a full circuit. Since its opening on August 3, 1998, Volcano has been one of the more popular rides in the park.

Anaconda (Kings Dominion)

Anaconda is a steel roller coaster located at Kings Dominion amusement park in Doswell, Virginia. Built by Arrow Dynamics and designed by Ron Toomer, Anaconda opened in 1991 as the first looping roller coaster to feature an underwater tunnel and the first at Kings Dominion with more than one inversion.
