Fries is part of the Blue Ridge area, and shares in that region's old-time musical traditions. Ivanhoe, Virginia

Ivanhoe is a census-designated place (CDP) in southern Wythe County, Virginia, United States, that straddles the border of Wythe County and Carroll County.
