Elko Middle School

Elko Middle school is a secondary school in the far east of Henrico County, Virginia, USA which is owned and operated by Henrico County Public Schools. The school was built in 2007. It is named after the area and the road that its located on (Elko Road) it was built in the Elko Tract area which was a decoy town back in the 2nd world war and is now a small town in the outskirts of eastern Henrico county. The students there either go to Varina High School or Highland Springs High School.

Battle of Savage's Station

The Battle of Savage's Station took place on June 29, 1862, in Henrico County, Virginia, as fourth of the Seven Days Battles of the American Civil War. The main body of the Union Army of the Potomac began a general withdrawal toward the James River. Confederate Brig. Gen. John B.
