Manassas Regional Airport, also known as Harry P. Davis Field, is a city-owned public-use airport located four nautical miles (7 km) southwest of the central business district of Manassas, in a section of Manassas that was carved out of Prince William County specifically for the purpose of containing the airport. The largest regional airport in the state of Virginia, the Manassas Regional Airport is conveniently located 30 miles from Washington, D.C.

Brentsville District High School

Brentsville District High School is a public high school in Nokesville in unincorporated Prince William County, Virginia, United States, and part of Prince William County Public Schools. It is the only high school in Prince William County considered to be in a developing rural community. In May 2007, Newsweek magazine ranked Brentsville District High School 674th in the nation on its annual list of "Best High Schools in America."

Battle of Bristoe Station

The Battle of Bristoe Station was fought on October 14, 1863, at Bristoe Station, Virginia, between Union forces under Maj. Gen. Gouverneur K. Warren and Confederate forces under Lt. Gen. A.P. Hill during the Bristoe Campaign of the American Civil War. The Union II Corps under Warren was able to surprise and repel the Confederate attack by Hill on the Union rearguard, resulting in a Union victory.
