Renton Municipal Airport

Renton Municipal Airport is a public use airport located in Renton, a city in King County, Washington, United States. The airport was renamed Clayton Scott Field in 2005 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Clayton Scott. The airport's northern boundary is Lake Washington and the Will Rogers - Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base. Renton Airport has a floating dock and a launching ramp for conversion from wheeled landings to water takeoffs and landings.

Cedar River Trail

The Cedar River Regional Trail is a partially paved 17.3-mile rail trail in Washington. It is open for non-motorized use and parallels Highway 169 for much of its length. It connects Renton to Maple Valley. In Maple Valley it connects to the Cedar to Green River Trail at mile 12.3. Beyond Maple Valley the surface is crushed gravel, and the trail ends in Landsburg near a small dam and the boundary of the Cedar River Watershed.

Renton, Washington

Renton is a city in King County, Washington, United States. Situated 11 miles (21 km) southeast of downtown Seattle, Washington, Renton straddles the southeast shore of Lake Washington, at the mouth of the Cedar River. While long an important salmon fishing area for Native Americans, Renton was first settled by people of European descent in the 1860s, and its early economy was based on coal mining, clay production, and timber export.

Will Rogers – Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base

The Will Rogers – Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base, is a seaplane base located on Lake Washington, inside the perimeter fence of the northwest corner of the Renton Municipal Airport in Renton, Washington. It was named for the fact that these two famous personalities departed from this point on their ultimately-fatal trip to points in Alaska.

Bryn Mawr-Skyway, Washington

Bryn Mawr-Skyway is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 15,645 at the 2010 census. Bryn Mawr-Skyway is the only census-designated place in the Seattle metro area to report a majority-minority population in the 2000 Census. Bryn Mawr-Skyway also has the highest black population of any CDP in the entire Pacific Northwest, consisting of over a quarter of citizens. A significant Filipino-American community also exists.
