Castra of Aradul Nou

The castra of Aradul Nou was a fort in the Roman province of Dacia, located in a modern neighborhood of Arad in Romania. Bricks bearing the name of two Roman legions were unearthed at this location. Built under Emperor Trajan and abandoned thereafter, this auxiliary fort protected the road leading from Micia to Partiscum.

Arad Central Railway Station

Arad Central Railway Station (Romanian: Gara Centrală din Arad) is the largest railway station in the city of Arad and the largest in the Arad County. It is the second largest railway station in the western region of Romania, immediately after Timișoara Nord railway station. The main building was designed by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff, when Arad was part of Hungary prior to joining Romania in 1918.

Stadionul Francisc von Neumann

Francisc von Neuman Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Arad, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC UTA Arad. The stadium holds 7,287 people and was built in 1945 as a reduced scale replica of Arsenal Stadium. The stadium was opened on 1 September 1946 when took place the match between UTA Arad - Ciocanul București 1-0. At that time, the stadium was considered the most modern in the country.

Fortress of Arad

The Fortress of Arad is a fortification system built in the city of Arad, on the left bank of the Mureş River in the 18th century at the direct order of the Habsburg Empress Maria Theresa. The fortress lies today in the Subcetate neighbourdhood of the city, on the former military border between the Habsburg Empire and the Ottoman Empire.
