THSR Hsinchu Station

THSR Hsinchu Station (高鐵新竹站) is an elevated station of Taiwan High Speed Rail located in Zhubei, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It opened for service in 2006. The THSR Hsinchu Station was designed by Taiwanese architect Kris Yao.

Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park

Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park is an industrial park established by the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on December 15, 1980. It straddles Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County on the island of Taiwan. Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park was founded by Kwoh-Ting Li, former Finance Minister of Republic of China. Inspired by Silicon Valley in the United States, Li consulted Frederick Terman, on how Taiwan could follow its example.

National Experimental High School

National Experimental High School At Science Based Industrial Park (NEHS), situated near the Hsinchu Science Park, is a public, coeducational school (pre-primary-12). Founded in August 1983, the school was proposed by the founder of the Science Park Kwoh-Ting Li. NEHS is administered by the Ministry of Education, National Science Council and Science Park Administration.

Hsinchu County

Hsinchu County is a county in north-western Taiwan. The population of the county is mainly Hakka; there is a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Zhubei is the capital of Hsinchu, where the government office and county office is located. Hsinchu is where most of the industrial factory and office of computer related companies are located, most known as Hsinchu Technology Zone in Taiwan.
