The Scarborough Metro-North Railroad station serves Scarborough, New York and Briarcliff Manor, New York via the Hudson Line. Trains leave for New York City every 25 to 35 minutes on weekdays. It is 28.7 miles from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is about 42 minutes on the express and 61 minutes on local service. The station was built by the New York Central Railroad.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York, is the resting place of numerous famous figures, including Washington Irving, whose story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is set in the adjacent Old Dutch Burying Ground. Incorporated in 1849 as Tarrytown Cemetery, it posthumously honored Irving's request that it change its name to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Briarcliff Manor is a village in Westchester County in the state of New York. It is shared between the towns of Mount Pleasant and Ossining, and lies entirely within the ZIP code of 10510. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 7,867, over 93% of whom lived in the Town of Ossining. The village motto is a Village between Two Rivers.
