Monastery of Saint Naum

The Monastery of Saint Naum (Macedonian: Манастир „Свети Наум“) is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in the Republic of Macedonia, named after the medieval Saint Naum who founded it. It is situated along Lake Ohrid, 29 kilometres south of the city of Ohrid. The Lake Ohrid area, including St Naum, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Macedonia.

Pogradec District

The District of Pogradec (Albanian: Rrethi i Pogradecit) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Korçë County. It has a population of 70,575 (2010 estimate), and an area of 725 km². Trpejca

Trpejca is a village along the shore of the Lake Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia. Traditionally a fishing village, it has recently become an upscale vacation spot. Trpejca is home to around 303 inhabitants and has just one school, two shops, and a church recently built on the exact location of an older one. It is known as the Macedonian Saint-Tropez among locals.

Galičica

Galičica mountain is situated across the border between the Republic of Macedonia and Albania. There is a National park on the Macedonian side of the mountain, situated between the two biggest lakes in the republic: Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. It stretches over an area of 227 square kilometres (88 mi²). The floral life in the National Park Galičica represents over 1000 species, of which a large number of relicts and endems have the final frontier of its range exactly on the mountain Galičica.

Pllaja e Pusit

Pllaja e Pusit is a mountain peak located in south-eastern Albania. Pllaja e Pusit is 2,288 m high being the highest peak of Mali i Thatë. Pllaja e Pusit is not only the highest peak of Mali i Thatë but also the highest peak of the mountains separating Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. To the north - west of Pllaja e Pusit is Lake Ohrid and to the east of this peak is Lake Prespa. One of the largest settlements found near the peak is Liqenas.
