Berry railway station

Berry is a CityRail railway station on the South Coast railway line. It serves the town of Berry. The station opened on 2 June 1893. The station has one side platform and a platformless crossing loop opposite the station which is not often used. It also has a siding at its southern end which is used to cross trains. This happens five times per day on weekdays. The station has Easy Access for wheelchairs.

Berry, New South Wales

Berry is a small Australian town in the Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast in the state of New South Wales, located 145 km south of the state capital, Sydney. The indigenous people of the area were the Wodi Wodi people. In the 1810s, George William Evans, Government Surveyor, reported on the Berry district as a possible settlement and on the good stands of red cedar. Subsequently, itinerant timber cutters visited to cut and send cedar to Sydney.

Seven Mile Beach (New South Wales)

Seven Mile Beach is a long beach with strong historical reference just south of Gerringong in the Shoalhaven area of New South Wales, Australia. In 1933 Seven Mile Beach was used by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith as the runway for the first commercial flight between Australia and New Zealand. It also has a little river/lake. The area contains a unique littoral rainforest with several rainforest plants at their southern most limit of distribution.

Coolangatta, New South Wales

For the QLD town on the Gold Coast see Coolangatta, Queensland Coolangatta is an historic area in Australia, on the north shore of the Shoalhaven River on the New South Wales south coast. Coolangatta is a local aboriginal word meaning "splendid view". Behind the settlement is a tall hill known as Coolangatta Mountain. In 1822 Scotsman Alexander Berry settled and built an estate in the area, he was the first European to settle in the Shoalhaven area.
