Willbriggie, New South Wales

Willbriggie is a community in the central part of the Riverina nearby to the city of Griffith. It is situated by road, about 16 kilometres north from Darlington Point and 17 kilometres south from Hanwood. At the 2006 census, Willbriggie had a population of 376. Darlington Point Railway Station Post Office opened on 16 November 1881, was renamed Darlington Railway Station office in 1882, Willbriggie in 1909 and closed in 1975.

Darlington Point

Darlington Point is a small town on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the Riverina district of western New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Murrumbidgee Shire local government area.   The centre of town is four kilometres from the Sturt Highway, along Kidman Way. Darlington Point is 631 kilometres south west of Sydney and 33 kilometres south of Griffith. At the 2006 census, Darlington Point had a population of 1,026.

Hanwood, New South Wales

Hanwood is a town in the central Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is located 5 kilometres south of Griffith, New South Wales and is in the City of Griffith local government area. At the 2006 census, Hanwood had a population of 583. Hanwood Post Office opened on 1 January 1921. Hanwood is known for its wineries, in particular the McWilliam's winery, established in 1913, which has a bottle-shaped tasting room.

Whitton, New South Wales

Whitton is a small town located in Leeton Shire in the Australian state of New South Wales. Founded in 1850, it is named after John Whitton (1820-98), Engineer-in-Charge of the New South Wales Government Railways. The railway reached Whitton in 1881. At the 2006 census, Whitton had a population of 394. Hulong Post Office opened on 15 October 1881 and was renamed Whitton in 1883.
