Yanderra, New South Wales

Yanderra is a small village situated on the border of the Southern Highlands and Macarthur Region of New South Wales, Australia. Yanderra is located between Bargo and Southern Highlands' Yerrinbool, and is located next to the Hume Highway. At the 2006 census, Yanderra had a population of 561. The name Yanderra comes from an Aboriginal word for turpentine tree. A railway station was located at Yanderra on the Main South railway line between 1924 and 1975.

Bargo, New South Wales

Bargo is a small town of the Macarthur Region, New South Wales, Australia in the Wollondilly Shire. It is approximately 100 km south west of Sydney. It is situated between the township of Tahmoor (north) and the village of Yanderra (south), and accessible via the Hume Highway that links Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. It was previously known as West Bargo and Cobargo. Bargo is one of the largest towns in New South Wales without a sewerage system.

Bargo Parish

The Parish of Bargo is a parish of the County of Camden in New South Wales. It is based around the village of Bargo. The Main Southern railway line passes through the parish, including the Bargo station. The Hume Highway also passes through the parish, where it intersects Avon Dam Road, and also by the Pheasants Nest roadhouse. Lake Nepean and the Nepean River are the boundaries to the east, while the Bargo River is the boundary to the west. Forest Creek is the boundary to the south.

Bargo railway station

Bargo Railway Station is a station on the Southern Highlands line of the CityRail intercity network, serving the town of Bargo, New South Wales, Australia. The station opened on 13 July 1919 when the new alignment of the Main South Line opened, replacing a station at Balmoral on the old alignment. The station was initially called West Bargo, but was renamed on 1 November 1921. The station has two platforms that serve the diesel railcars that use the line.

Balmoral, New South Wales (Southern Highlands)

Balmoral is a Northern Village of the Southern Highlands area of New South Wales, Australia. Balmoral Village lies on the western side of Wilson Drive. The main street is Station Street. The village has no Post Office or shops. It has a well-maintained Village Hall, including a children's play area, and a tennis court. The village also has a NSW Rural Fire Service brigade.
