Buxton, Queensland

Buxton, is a small town in Queensland, Australia, situated on the banks of the Burrum River, about 20 kilometres from the Bruce Highway, and upstream from Burrum Heads and Walkers Point. The town has a general store, a transfer station, a boat ramp and some picnic facilities. There are also a few holiday houses up for rent during the holidays. Division of Hinkler

The Division of Hinkler is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland. The division was created in 1984 and is named for Bert Hinkler, the great pioneer Australian aviator. The seat is located in coastal Queensland, including the towns of Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Childers, Gayndah and Monto. The seat is marginal between the Australian Labor Party and the National Party of Australia.

Goodwood railway station, Queensland

Goodwood railway station is a closed railway station on the North Coast railway line, Queensland. The Goodwood railway station building was donated to Hervey Bay museum on Zephyr Street after the station itself closed. There is nothing of the station left.

Isis River Bridge

The Isis River Bridge is a road bridge over the Isis River south of Childers, Queensland, Australia. The bridge was built on a new and improved alignment of the Bruce Highway. It replaced the 54-year-old bridge which was prone to flooding. The new bridge will improve flood immunity as it is almost seven metres higher than the old bridge. The new bridge, constructed by Seymour Whyte, opened to traffic on 12 August 2011.

Isis River (Queensland)

The Isis River is a river of the state of Queensland in Australia. It rises east of Childers and flows in an easterly direction where it joins the Gregory River, itself a tributary of the Burrum River.
