Nardoo Hills Reserves

The Nardoo Hills Reserves (including the Judith Eardley Reserve) comprise two adjoining parcels of land, with a combined area of 5.9 km, as a nature reserve in north-central Victoria, Australia. They are located 12 km north of Wedderburn, 100 km north-west of Bendigo and 240 km north-west of Melbourne. They are owned and managed by Bush Heritage Australia (BHA), by which they were purchased in 2005 and 2006.

Buckrabanyule, Victoria

Buckrabanyule is a tiny township in the north-central area of the state of Victoria in Australia. It is 237 kilometres from Melbourne, Victoria's capital city. The Post Office opened on 23 November 1875. It was renamed Hallam in 1884 when an office named Buckrabanyule R. S (for Railway Station) was opened some distance away. This latter office became Buckrabanyule in 1902 and closed in 1992.

Korong Vale, Victoria

Korong Vale is a town in north western Victoria. The town is in the Shire of Loddon, 232 kilometres north west of the state capital of Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Korong Vale had a population of 170. Korongvale Post Office opened on 17 May 1879 and was renamed Korong Vale around 1945. Korong Vale - as the junction of the Kulwin and Robinvale railway lines - was a major railway town for many years and much of the population was made up of railway staff and their families.

Korong Vale railway station

Korong Vale is a demolished railway station located at the junction of the Robinvale, Kulwin railway lines in the township of Korong Vale, Victoria, Australia. Only freight trains use the line though the station. At the peak of operations, the station had an island platform with footbridge access, two signal boxes, a marshalling yard, goods platform and shed, a weighbridge. Rationalisation was carried out in the 1980s.

Mysia, Victoria

Mysia is a locality in north central Victoria, Australia in the Shire of Loddon local government area, 243 kilometres north of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Mysia and the surrounding area had a population of 105. Mysia Post Office opened on 6 June 1877 and Mysia Railway Station office opened in 1883. Mysia closed in 1895, but reopened in 1911 replacing Mysia Railway Station office, finally closing in 1992.
