Steere River

The Steere River is a river in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The headwaters of the river rise below the Ravensthorpe Range in the vicinity of Elverdton then flow in a southerly direction until discharging into the north eastern end of Culham Inlet. The waters of the river are naturally saline. The river drains an area of Archean volcanic and sedimentary rock that is mostly vegetated. The area to the north is hilly and rugged but the area further south undulates gently.

Phillips River

The Phillips River is an ephemeral river in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The headwaters of the river rise on the sanplains below Mount Madden and flow in a southerly direction, crossing the South Coast Highway approximately 20 kilometres West of Ravensthorpe then entering the Fitzgerald River National Park then veering eastward to follow a fault-line in the Quartzite rocks around the Eastern end of the Barren Range.

Jerdacuttup River

Jerdacuttup River is a river located in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The water in the river is naturally saline. The river rises on the edge of the Yilgarn Plateau north of Ravensthorpe below Mount Short and drains the eastern side of the Ravensthorpe Range before flowing south and draining into the Jerdacuttup lakes close to the Southern Ocean and east of Hopetoun.

Culham Inlet

Culham Inlet is an inlet located in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The inlet is also referred to as a coastal salt lake or a transient estuary, as the sand bar that prevents it discharging is almost always closed. The wetlands formed by the system are DIWA listed due to their ecological significance. The inlet is located on the eastern flank of East Mount Barren in the Fitzgerald River National Park and is approximately 7 kilometres West of Hopetoun.

Hopetoun is a town on the south coast of Western Australia in the Shire of Ravensthorpe. Located on Mary Ann Haven, Hopetoun is some 590 kilometres south-east from capital city Perth and 160 kilometres west of Esperance.
