Shah Amanat International Airport

Shah Amanat International Airport, named after an Islamic saint, is an international airport serving Bangladesh's southeastern port city of Chittagong and the Bangladesh Air Force. It is Bangladesh's second largest airport. It was formerly known as MA Hannan International Airport but was renamed on 2 April 2005 by the government of Bangladesh. The move was controversial since the previous name honored a member of the Awami League who were the opposition party at the time.

Chittagong City College

Government City College, Chittagong is a higher secondary and undergraduate level college in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It has day/night study session for students. It is located in Ice Factory Road (near New Market), 4000 Chittagong. in the Nalapara area of the city. It was established in 1954. The college started its journey in 1954 on the premises of the Law college as a Night college. It has emerged as a masters level college affiliated with the National University, Bangladesh.

Shah Amanat Bridge

The third Karnaphuli River bridge named Shah Amanat Bidge is the first major cable-supported bridge in Bangladesh. It crosses the Karnaphuli connecting the Southern Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and the hill district Banderban.
