Izenberge

Izenberge is a small Flemish village in the Belgian province of "West-Vlaanderen". Since a fusion in the seventies it belongs now to the larger agglomeration of Alveringem. It's the home of the open air museum Bachten De Kupe and a local museum of strange curiosities. It has also, besides a picturesque Romanesque church, a very beautiful baroque chapel, which is still a place of pilgrimage. Events: in August there is the annual funfair with a flea market (15 August).

Pollinkhove

Pollinkhove is a village in Lo-Reninge, in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The Lovaart canal separates the village centre from the small city of Lo. The River IJzer forms the south boundary. The church and parish are named after Saint Bartholomew. The gothic Saint Bartholowew's church has a 63 metre high tower dating from the 16th century.

Caesarsboom

Caesarsboom is a very old tree whose precise age is unknown but is believed to be over 2000 years in age. The ancient tree grows in Lo, a town in Lo-Reninge, a municipality of the West Flanders region of Belgium. Its species is Taxus baccata, common name European Yew. The tree is designated a national monument of Belgium.

Old Town Hall, Lo

The Old Town Hall of Lo is a historic landmark in the municipality of Lo-Reninge, in the Belgian province of West Flanders. Formerly the seat of the municipal government, the building is now a hotel and restaurant. The hall was built in 1565-1566 in Renaissance style by Joos Staesin from Ypres, in replacement of an older, dilapidated town hall. At the corner of the building is a belfry tower, supported in the front by two Tuscan columns.
