The Mark (Dutch) or Marcq (French) is a river in Belgium, right tributary of the Dender. It rises south-west of Enghien, Hainaut. It passes through the homonymous village Marcq, Enghien and Galmaarden. The Mark flows into the Dender between Lessines and Geraardsbergen. The Dender is a tributary of the Scheldt.

Everbeek

Everbeek is a village situated in the Flemish Ardennes and in the Denderstreek in Belgium. In 1975, it was included into the municipality of Brakel. Although it is Dutch speaking, this village was part of the Walloon province of Hainaut (Henegouwen) until 1963, when it became part of the Flemish province of East Flanders.

Deftinge

Deftinge is a small village which makes up part of the municipality of Lierde. It is located in the Denderstreek and in the Flemish Ardennes, the hilly southern part of the Belgian province of East Flanders. The village's coat of arms is of unknown origin. The arms were granted on February 24, 1819 and confirmed on July 21, 1843.

Muur van Geraardsbergen

The Muur van Geraardsbergen is a steep narrow road with cobblestones in Geraardsbergen, Belgium. It is also known as Kapelmuur, Muur-Kapelmuur or simply Muur. The hill starts near the river Dender at 18m and reaches the top of the Oudenberg at 110 m after 1,075m at 9.3 per cent. This climb is often part of the Ronde van Vlaanderen professional cycling race.
