Ourthe
The Ourthe is a 165 km long river in the Ardennes in Wallonia. It is a right tributary to the river Meuse. The Ourthe is formed at the confluence of the Ourthe Occidentale (Western Ourthe) and the Ourthe Orientale (Eastern Ourthe), west of Houffalize. The source of the Ourthe Occidentale is near Libramont-Chevigny, in the Belgian province Luxembourg. Achouffe
Achouffe is a small village in the municipality of Houffalize, in Wallonia, Belgium. It is located in the forested Ardennes region. Situated within the Bastogne district of Luxembourg province, it lies between the towns of Wibrin and Mont on the Rue de la Gréve (also known as the Rue d'Achouffe). Outside of the region, Achouffe is primarily known as the home of the Brasserie d'Achouffe, producers of La Chouffe craft beer as well as a liqueur distilled from their beer.

Brasserie d'Achouffe
The Brasserie d'Achouffe is a Belgian brewery based in Achouffe. It was founded in 1982 by two brothers-in-law, Pierre Gobron and Christian Bauweraerts, as a hobby. In 1984, Gobron decided to quit his job and to concentrate on his brewery, joined four years later by Bauweraerts. That year (1988), they began to export the beer to Quebec. In September 2006, the brewery was bought by the brewery group Duvel Moortgat. The beers have a gnome on their label.

Mardasson Memorial
The Mardasson Memorial is located near Bastogne, a municipality in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. It honours the memory of the 76,890 American soldiers who were wounded or killed during the Battle of the Bulge. While first steps towards the memorial were undertaken on July 4, 1946, by presenting some earth from the site to U.S. President Harry Truman, the monument was dedicated on July 16, 1950.
