Baía de Todos os Santos

Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints' Bay) is the main and biggest bay of the state of Bahia, Brazil. Its name expanded to include a whole province, now known as the state of Bahia), where the city of São Salvador da Bahia de Todos os Santos was built. In 1501, one year after the arrival of Pedro Álvares Cabral's fleet in Porto Seguro, Gaspar de Lemos arrived at Todos os Santos Bay and sailed most of the Bahia coast.

Barradão

Estádio Manoel Barradas, usually known as Barradão, is a multi-purpose stadium in Salvador, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a current maximum capacity of 35,632 people. The stadium was built in 1986 and reinaugurated in 1991. The Barradão is owned by Esporte Clube Vitória. The stadium is named after Manoel Barradas, who was a Vitória's counselor.

Candeias

Candeias is a town in Brazil, in the State of Bahia. It is located 46 km in the north of Salvador, the capital of the State of Bahia, The town is near the BR324 motorway. The town has a current population of 78,618 (2007 estimate).[1 1] With the 6th highest GDP in the State of Bahia, its major economics activities are: the Port of Aratu which is one of the most important of the Country, the town is based next to the second biggest oil refinery of the country, Landulfo Alves refinery.

Estádio de Pituaçu

Estádio Metropolitano Roberto Santos, usually known as Estádio de Pituaçu, is a football stadium located in Salvador, Bahia state, Brazil. The stadium is owned by the Government of Bahia state and it was built in 1979. Its formal name honors Roberto Santos, who was a federal deputy, the governor of Bahia state from 1975 to 1979, a professor at the Universidade Federal da Bahia's Faculty of Medicine, and was the Minister of Health during José Sarney's government.

Historic Centre (Salvador, Bahia)

The Historic Centre (known in Portuguese as The Pelourinho) is a historic neighborhood located in the western zone of Salvador, Bahia.
