Mount Manengouba

Nkam River

The Nkam River rises in the Western High Plateau in the West Region of Cameroon, and joins the Makombé River to become the Wouri River. It is known to tourists for the spectacular Chutes d'Ekom, an 80 metres high waterfall about 30 kilometres from Bafang. To the south of the town of Dschang, the Santchou Faunal Reserve lies to the east of the river.

Bangem is a town and commune in Cameroon. Bangem is a small town nestled in a valley, about halfway up Mount Muanenguba. Bangem enjoys a cool comfortable climate and lots of rain. The dry season is short and lasts from November to March, and the rest of the year there are rains. The road network is deplorable and travel in the wet season can be slow and uncomfortable.
