Heart's Desire is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town had a population of 226 in the Canada 2006 Census. Located on route 80 between Heart's Content and Heart's Delight - Islington known to it locals for its winding backpaths and ocean view. The town has a barber shop, playground with pond for swimming and one store.

Heart's Delight-Islington

Heart's Delight-Islington is a town on the south side of Trinity Bay in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town, located on Newfoundland and Labrador Route 80, was incorporated in 1973 by amalgamating the formerly independent settlements of Heart's Delight and Islington. The Post Office was established in 1954. The first Postmistress was Maggie Chislett. Danielle Seward represented Heart's Delight-Islington in the Miss Teen Newfoundland & Labrador Pageant in 2007.

Cavendish, Newfoundland and Labrador

Cavendish is a settlement in Newfoundland and Labrador. Cavendish is located on Route 80, off the Route 1 (Trans Canada Highway) exit at Whitbourne. Commuting to St. John's takes approximately 1.5 hours and is a 130 kilometer drive. Neighbouring communities are "The Town of Hearts Delight - Islington" to the north and "Whiteway" to the south. Approximately 150 people currently live in Cavendish, and the population peaked in the year 1985 at approximately 300 year-round residents.

New Perlican

New Perlican is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town had a population of 188 in the Canada 2006 Census. New Perlican is one of the oldest settlements in the province. the town was mentioned by name by Thomas Rowley, one of the first settlers at the Cupids Colony. According to his correspondence, he was making plans to move to New Perlican in 1619. We do not know if he did, but we know that by 1675 William Herfford and his family were living there.
