Cayuga, Ontario

Cayuga is an unincorporated community and county seat in the province of Ontario, Canada located at the intersection of Highway 3 and Munsee Street and along the Grand River in Haldimand County. Cayuga is about a 20-minute drive from Lake Erie and 30 minutes south of Hamilton and 115 minutes south of Toronto and consequently it has some cottages and recreational properties in the area. In the past there was some light industry.

Dunnville, Ontario

Dunnville is an unincorporated community of 6,000 people located near the mouth of the Grand River in Haldimand County, Ontario, Canada, near the historic Talbot Trail. It was formerly an incorporated town encompassing the surrounding area with a total population of 12,000.

Binbrook, Ontario

Binbrook is a small, but growing community in southeastern Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. It was unpopularly amalgamated into the City of Hamilton in 2001. Since 2001, Binbrook has added hundreds of new homes as it becomes an "island" suburb of Hamilton, separated by conservation and agricultural lands. Armstrong's General Store was a longtime centre of community activity as was the feed mill and, in the 1960s, Cybulski's Grocery Store.

Port Maitland, Ontario

It is on the North shore of Lake Erie, at the mouth of the Grand River. At one time a canal connected the Welland Canal to the Grand River. It was once a thriving commercial fishing village. The population of Port Maitland is approximately 100 people.

Grand River (Ontario)

The Grand River is a large river in southwestern Ontario, Canada. From its source near Wareham, Ontario, it flows south through Grand Valley, Fergus, Elora, Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Paris, Brantford, Caledonia, and Cayuga before emptying into the north shore of Lake Erie south of Dunnville at Port Maitland. One of the scenic and spectacular features of the river is the falls and gorge at Elora. The Grand River is the largest river entirely within southern Ontario's boundaries.
