Groulx is a provincial electoral district in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. The district includes part of Blainville, as well as a few other small cities. It was created for the 1981 election from a part of Terrebonne electoral district. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it gained a small part of the city of Blainville from Blainville electoral district; it did not formerly include any part of that city.

Place Rosemère is a super regional mall in Rosemère, Quebec. It is at the intersection of Quebec Autoroute 640 and Boulevard Curé-Labelle, and only 1 mile away from Quebec Autoroute 15. Its general manager is Jacques Farley and assistant is Nino Bruni. Its anchor stores are Walmart, Sears, la Baie and Best Buy. Its other major tenants are H&M, Zara, and Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart). It also has 215 stores, including a food court of ten restaurants.

Sainte-Thérèse Assembly

Sainte-Thérèse Assembly was a General Motors Canada automobile factory, which opened in 1966. It was located in the Montreal suburb of Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec. It later was the site for production of the F-body Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. The plant closed in 2002 and was demolished. In the mid-1980s, the plant was facing closure due to high absenteeism and low quality of the G-body cars built there.

Trans-Canada Air Lines Flight 831

Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA) Flight 831 was a flight from Montreal-Dorval Airport (now Montréal/Trudeau) to Toronto International Airport (now Toronto-Pearson) on November 29, 1963. The aircraft was a four-engine Douglas DC-8-54CF airliner, registered CF-TJN. About five minutes after takeoff in poor weather, the jet crashed about 20 miles north of Montreal, near Ste-Thérèse-de-Blainville, Quebec, Canada, killing all 118 people on board: 111 passengers and 7 crew members.
