Dunany, Quebec

Dunany is a small community in Wentworth, Quebec, Canada. It is located just over an hour's drive west of Montreal in the Laurentian Mountains, some 10 to 15 kilometres north of Lachute. The Dunany Golf and Country Club is celebrating its 85th Anniversary in 2007. The club consists of 9 hole course and a clubhouse surrounded by four small lakes, Curran, Black, Boyd and Clear.

Dominion Timber and Minerals Railway

The Dominion Timber and Minerals Railway was a private standard-gauge railroad that operated in the Laurentian Mountains of Southwestern Quebec, Canada from 1916 to 1981. Owned by Canadian Refractories Limited, the railway's 20km mainline stretched from CRL's magnesite mine in Kilmar, through an extremely rugged mountain route to its final teminus at Marlean.

Argenteuil County is an historic county in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It was located on the Ottawa River between Gatineau and Montreal. The county seat was Lachute. Argenteuil was bounded on the north by Terrebonne County, on the east by Deux-Montagnes County, on the west by Papineau County and on the south by the United Counties of Prescott and Russell in Ontario.

Long-Sault Bridge

The Long-Sault Bridge (French: Pont du Long-Sault) is a bridge connecting Hawkesbury, Ontario and Grenville, Quebec. It crosses the Ottawa River via Chenail Island. It connects Quebec Route 344 and Ontario Highway 34. The bridge was built to replace the original Perley Bridge built in 1931.
