Hervey-Jonction railway station

Hervey-Jonction railway station (also known as simply Hervey) is located on Chemin de la Gare in Hervey-Jonction, Quebec, Canada. This station was built in 1905 as the junction for trains travelling from Montreal to Quebec City and other regions. Today, this is where two Via Rail routes travelling together from Montreal stop to perform a split and continue their journey in separate directions. The trains combine here on the way back to Montreal.

Lac-Masketsi, Quebec

Lac-Masketsi is an unorganized territory in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Canada, part of the Mékinac Regional County Municipality. Most of its area is part of the ZEC Tawachiche. It is named after Masketsi Lake that is located within its boundaries. This name first appeared on a map from 1870 by Eugène-Étienne Taché and is of Amerindian origin meaning "moccasin".

Saint-Georges, Shawinigan

Saint-Georges, often unofficially known as Saint-Georges-de-Champlain, was a former village municipality and is now a sector (secteur) of the city of Shawinigan. Until 1919, Saint-Georges had been known as Village Turcotte. It merged with Shawinigan in an municipal amalgamation on January 1, 2002. In the Canada 1996 Census its population was 3,929.

Lac-à-la-Tortue, Quebec

Lac-à-la-Tortue is a small community of 2,500 inhabitants in Quebec. Formerly a separate municipality, it has been one of the seven sectors of the city of Shawinigan since the municipal amalgamation of January 1, 2002. The name Lac-a-la-Tortue is French for Turtle Lake.
