La Dehesa is a suburban neighborhood in Lo Barnechea Commune of Santiago, Chile. It borders Las Condes to the south and Vitacura to the east. It is located in a valley near the Andes, in the northeast of the city, north of the Mapocho River. La Dehesa is known as one of Chile's most affluent neighborhoods.

Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo
Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo is a multi-purpose stadium, in Santiago, Chile. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Club Deportivo Universidad Católica. The stadium currently holds 16,000 people and was built in 1988. At the club's beginning, all sports were on Santa Rosa de las Condes Stadium, which is a big sport centre that is going to be demolished and transported to San Carlos.

1647 Santiago earthquake
The 1647 Santiago earthquake struck Santiago, Chile on the night of May 13th and is said to have brought virtually every building in the city to the ground. The earthquake was felt throughout the so-called Captaincy General of Chile, an administrative territory of the Spanish Empire. The maximum felt intensity was XI on the Mercalli intensity scale and there were about a thousand casualties.
