Saint George's College

Saint George's College, founded in 1936 and run by the Congregation of Holy Cross, is among the most exclusive and upper-class schools in Santiago, Chile. According to Seminarium Head Hunting, fully one third of the CEO's of the top 200 companies in Chile are graduates of the school. Three Holy Cross religious arrived in Santiago, Chile, on March 1, 1943, at the invitation of Cardinal José María Caro, Archbishop of Santiago (Chile), to administer Saint George's College.

Cerro El Plomo

Cerro El Plomo is a mountain located in the Andes near Santiago, Chile. With an altitude of 5,434 m (17,783 ft), it is the largest peak visible from Santiago on clear days. The adequate season to climb this mountain is between November and March. In spring (September to November), soil conditions have abundant snow on the approach. The best time is in January and March, where the approach is snow free, except for some specific areas, and the climate is more stable.

Valle Nevado

Valle Nevado is a popular ski resort located 46 kilometers east of Santiago, Chile. Valle Nevado is one of South America's most modern ski resorts. It was founded in 1988 by French businessmen, who used European ski resorts in the Alps as models to follow. With more than 800 hectares of skiable area and South America's only high-speed detachable quad, Valle Nevado is considered one of the most modern ski resorts in South America.

La Parva

La Parva is a town and ski resort located about 50 km northeast of the Chilean capital of Santiago. It is in the middle ridge of the "3 Valleys" resorts that also includes El Colorado and Valle Nevado.
