Cerro Arenas is a mountain in the Andes of Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. It is located west of San José volcano and east of Cerro El Morado. The latter mountain lies on the opposite side of the valley of the Estero Morado, a headwater stream of the Volcán River.

Embalse El Yeso

Embalse El Yeso is a reservoir located in the Andes, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. It is formed by the damming of Yeso River, part of Maipo River basin. The reservoir has a capacity of 250,000,000 m³. El Yeso reservoir, along with the nearby Laguna Negra, are a major source of drinking water for Santiago. Its turquoise waters are suitable for fishing and windsurfing.

Cajón del Maipo

Cajón del Maipo is a canyon located in the Andean southeastern portion of the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. It encompasses the upper Maipo River basin, where the river has entrenched itself in a narrow valley. The zone features a series of confluent rivers such as El Volcán River, Yeso River and Colorado River, as well as other minor streams, including San Gabriel, Manzanito, Coyanco, El Sauce, El Manzano and San José.
