Florida International University Tianjin Center

The Florida International University Tianjin Center is a campus of Miami, Florida-based Florida International University located in Tianjin, in the People's Republic of China, from which a branch of the FIU School of Hospitality & Tourism Management operates. The center was constructed as a cooperative venture with the local municipal government and the Tianjin University of Commerce ("TUC"). The venture was entered into in October 2003, and the institution was opened in the Summer of 2006.

Douzhangzhuang Railway Station

Douzhangzhuang railway station (豆张庄站) is a fourth-class station at 97 km on Jingshan railway. The station was built in 1907. It is located in Wuqing District, Tianjin. The station was renamed 414 railway station in 1969 during the 10th anniversary of Mao Zedong's visit of Douzhangzhuang on April 14, 1959. It was renamed back on October 1, 1980.

Hongqiao District

Hongqiao District is a district in the city of Tianjin, China. The name of the district derives from the name of a bridge - Dahong Bridge (大红桥, lit. big red bridge) - on the Ziya River, a tributary of Hai River.

Tianjin Eye

Tianjin Eye is a 120-metre tall giant Ferris wheel built above the Yongle Bridge (formerly Chihai Bridge), over the Hai River in Tianjin, China. It is claimed to be the only such wheel to have been constructed over a bridge. Construction started in 2007, with completion of the main body on 18 December 2007, and the wheel opened to the public on 7 April 2008. At the time of its completion, only the 135 m London Eye, 160 m Star of Nanchang, and 165 m Singapore Flyer were taller.

Goldin Finance 117

Goldin Finance 117 - also known as China 117 Tower is a skyscraper under construction in Tianjin, China. The tower is expected to stand at a height of 597 metres with 117 floors. Construction began in 2008, and the building was scheduled to be completed in 2014, becoming the second tallest building in China, surpassing the Shanghai World Financial Center. In late January 2010 it was announced that construction had been suspended. Construction resumed in 2011, with completion estimated in 2015.
