Festival Imperial

Festival Imperial is a major Costa Rican music festival organized by Cerveceria Costa Rica and their flagship beer: Imperial. The first festival took place in April 2006 and brought world-known performers such as Sting, Jamiroquai, Diego Torres, and The Rasmus. The second edition of the festival was held on April 2008 and featured: Duran Duran, Incubus and Smashing Pumpkins among others.

Ciudad Colón

Ciudad Colon is a small town situated west of Santa Ana, Costa Rica. Ciudad Colon is the head city of Mora Canton, San José Province. It is famous for its warm climate, proximity to nature and its surrounding mountains, folkloric traditions, horse riding, and multiculturalism. Located some 6 km out into the hills is the United Nations University for Peace.

Alajuela

Alajuela is the second largest city in Costa Rica after the capital, San José. It is also the capital of the namesake province. Because of its location in the Costa Rican Central Valley, Alajuela is nowadays englobed in the conurbation of Great Metropolitan Area (GAM). The city is the birthplace of Juan Santamaría, the national hero of Costa Rica and the figure who gives the name to the country's main international airport, which is located south of Alajuela downtown.

Belén (canton)

Belén is the name of the seventh canton in the province of Heredia in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 12.15 km², and has a population of 21,085. The capital city of the canton is San Antonio. The area is well known locally for its inland chalk cliffs. The compact canton is on the western side of the General Cañas Freeway (Autopista General Cañas) midway between the national capital city of San José and the Juan Santamaría International Airport.
