Plasina Tunnel

The Plasina Tunnel is located between Žuta Lokva and Ličko Lešće. It is located between Otočac and Perušić interchanges of the Croatian A1 motorway. Both tunnel tubes, 2,300 metres long, were completed simultaneously. The northern portal of the tunnel is located at 532 m.a.s.l. , while the southern one is at 547 m.a.s.l.. Excavation of the tunnel had been completed by January 2004. In 2006, the tunnel was declared to be among the top three safest tunnels in Europe by EuroTAP.

Kosinj

Kosinj, also the Kosinj Valley, is a hilly region near Perušić, Croatia, and Lipovo Polje, that contains 2 areas: Upper Kosinj and Lower Kosinj, which are connected by the Kosinj Bridge on the Lika river. The population is 1,692, excluding Kosinjski Bakovac.

Kosinj Bridge

Kosinj Bridge is a stone bridge, seventy feet long in Lika, Croatia. It connects the Upper and Lower Kosinj. It was designed in the 19th century designer Milivoj Frković, and was modelled on the old Croatian bridge building technique "uklinjenjem stone. " The bridge is unique in the arched openings with water-shedding function of the wave, the attack on the bridge. The construction of the bridge began in 1929. in, 1936. released into circulation.

Lika

Lika is a geographic region in Mountainous Croatia macroregion of Croatia, roughly bound by the Velebit mountain from the southwest and the Plješevica mountain from the northeast. On the north-west end Lika is bounded by Ogulin-Plaški basin, and on the south-east by the Malovan pass. Today most of the territory of Lika is part of Lika-Senj County. Josipdol, Plaški and Saborsko are part of Karlovac County and Gračac is part of Zadar County.
