Malá Pravčická brána

The Malá Pravčická Brána is a natural sandstone arch, that is about 2.30 m high and 3.30 m wide. It is located in Bohemian Switzerland near the red signposted main hiking route between Mezní Louka and Vysoká Lípa. Its name is derived from the nearby Pravčická brána in the Winterberg area, the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe. Amongst the cave formations in Bohemian Switzerland there are a number of other Kleine Prebischtore.

Rock chapel (Všemily)

The Rock Chapel (Skalní kaple) is a chapel in Všemily (Schemmel) in the Czech Republic, which is entirely built into a hollowed-out block of rock. It is one of the most notable holoy monuments in the Bohemian Switzerland.

Falkenštejn Castle

Ruins of Falkenštejn Castle (Falkenstein Castle, German: Felsenburg Falkenstein) can be found next to the village Jetřichovice in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. The castle was built probably during 13th century. First written mention from 1395 appears in the chronicle of nearby town Česká Kamenice. The castle had changed hand several times. No mention exists that it was ever conquered. Falkenštejn was abandoned during 15th century.

JAT Flight 367

JAT Yugoslav Airlines Flight 367 was a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 aircraft (registration YU-AHT) which exploded shortly after overflying NDB Hermsdorf, East Germany, while en route from Stockholm to Belgrade on 26 January 1972. The aircraft, piloted by captain Ludvig Razdrih, broke into two pieces and spun out of control, crashing near the village of Srbská Kamenice in Czechoslovakia. 27 of 28 of those on board were killed upon ground impact; but one crew member, Vesna Vulović, survived.
