Presentation of Virgin Mary Church (České Budějovice)

Church Presentation of Virgin Mary is an historical church located off Piaristic square in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. It and the monastery were founded with the city in 1265; initial construction was completed around 1300. It is a monumental gothic building with baroque and rococo additions and unique medieval fresco paintings. Although no monks remain at the monastery, mass is celebrated on Wednesday and Sunday. From May to October the church is open to the public (from 1000 to 1700).
