Hrazany is a small village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, which is situated 9 kilometres north direction near Milevsko in Písek District. It is composed of for parts - Dobrošov, Hrazany, Hrazánky a Klisinec. It has 280 residents. The name of the village has no clear origin, but it may be deduced from Czech word hráz (the dike). Orlík nad Vltavou is a village in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The village was formerly called Staré Sedlo, named after the chateau. In Czech, "nad Vltavou" means "upon the river Vltava" and both the chateau and the village are situated on the left river bank, on the shores of the Orlik reservoir which was created by the building of Orlík Dam. The chateau, Orlík Castle, stand right adjacent to the water and is surrounded by a huge castle park and a game preserve.
