Hranice Abyss

The Hranice Abyss is the deepest abyss in the Czech Republic. It is located near the town of Hranice (Přerov District). The lowest confirmed depth (as of 3 October 2012) is 442,5 m (373 m under the water level). In this moment it is the second deepest underwater cave in the world, however the expected depth is 700–800 m The Hranice Abyss was created by a collapse of the cave roof, which was eaten away by warm carbonic acidulous spring water in limestone.

Hefaiston

The Hefaiston is an annual gathering and international competition of blacksmiths that is held at the Helfštýn castle, Czech Republic. It is named after the Greek god Hephaestus. The event is organized by the Comenius Museum in Přerov in collaboration with the administration of the castle since 1982. The 29th gathering (held in 2010) was attended by more than four hundred blacksmiths. The Hefaiston is considered one of the most important annual meetings of artist blacksmiths in the world.

Moravian Gate

The Moravian Gate is a geomorphological feature in the Moravian region of the Czech Republic. It is formed by the depression between the Carpathian Mountains in the east and the Sudetes in the west. Vsetínská Bečva

Vsetínská Bečva is a river in the Czech Republic, the left tributary of the Bečva River. It originates in the Javorníky mountain range at the elevation of 896 m and flows for 59.38 km to Valašské Meziříčí, where it joins with Rožnovská Bečva to form the Bečva River. It flows through numerous towns and villages, including Velké Karlovice, Karolinka, Nový Hrozenkov, Halenkov, Huslenky, Hovězí, Janová, Ústí, Vsetín, Jablůnka, Pržno, Bystřička, Jarcová and Valašské Meziříčí.
