Sindal

Sindal is a town with a population of 3,090 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in Hjørring municipality in Region Nordjylland on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The former Sindal municipality covered an area of 242 km², and had a total population of 9,425 (2005). On January 1, 2007 Sindal municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007).

Nordsøen Oceanarium

Nordsøen Oceanarium is a public aquarium and museum that opened in 1998 on the shores of the North Sea in Hirtshals, north Jutland, Denmark. Their main tank, which holds 4,500,000 litres, is the largest in Northern Europe, but the Oceanarium also has several smaller habitat aquariums and an exhibit with seals. Most displayed species are native to the oceans around Denmark. The Oceanarium is part of the Nordsøcentre, which also houses a conference centre.

EUC Nord

EUC Nord is the fusion of the technical schools in Hjørring and Frederikshavn, in Vendsyssel in Denmark. EUC is an abbreviation of Erhvervsuddannelsescenter, which means Vocational Education Center. EUC Nord has six departments; four in Hjørring and two in Frederikshavn. In Hjørring there is both a HTX and a HHX departments beside the vocational educations. In Frederikshavn there is only an HTX department beside the vocational educations.
